HAHEI BEACH - BEST BEACHES DESTINATION IN NEW ZEALAND


HAHEI BEACH - is named after the Maori chief Hei. From the lookout there is way in to majestic Cathedral Cove and the marine reserve. The Te Pare point is a famous reserve at the southern end of Hahei Beach is the site of a pa taken by the Ngati Hei people.

Available only by boat, famous Cathedral Cove is one of the "must visit" sites on the Coromandel Peninsula. The track begins at the northern end of Hahei.

New Zealand
has confirmed to be a picture-perfect locale, frequently with its beaches as the main attraction. Art galleries, accommodations, restaurants, and gift shops are available in the town center, but most visitors come to relax on the pink sands or dip their toes in the naturally occurring thermal springs at nearby Hot Water Beach. Visitors can even excavate their own spa pool two hours on either side of low tide. If you want to do more than sit and watch the sunset, several water sports are available at Hahei, including scenic boat trips, sea kayaking, and snorkeling.
